ENDLESS SUMMER
This is Sleeper’s 1st signature drink. During the 2020 quarantine prior to opening, Sleeper & Johnny created this refreshing drink in Cascades Inn’s courtyard. We use 100 proof Vodka, Simply Lemonade, Cranberry Juice & Organic Agave Nectar. IU student Tori came in for her 1st drink on her 21st birthday & our gift to her was to allow her to name this drink.
BLUE RIDGE-RITA
Our take on a traditional Blue Margarita has a well-balanced taste that combines the tangy & sour flavors of lime & orange liqueur with the sweetness of blue curaçao. The result is a strong yet refreshing cocktail with a slight hint of tropical fruitiness. Inspiration for this drink came from our Blue Ridge neighbors.
SLEEPER'S CARIBBEAN KNUCKLEHEAD
A group of IU alums came in before an IU B-ball game. They wanted Sleeper to make their favorite Caribbean cocktail. He used Premium Vodka, Fresh Lime Juice, Grand Marnier & Organic Agave Nectar to gain their approval. Their boisterous, & intense affection for the islands, IU & our bar had Sleeper affectionately name them his favorite “Knuckleheads”!
SMOKED CHERRY OLD FASHIONED
This is our spin on the classic Old-Fashioned cocktail originally developed in the 1880’s. Our version uses bourbon but substituting brandy is equally refreshing. After muddling the ingredients, alcohol is added & we infuse cherry wood smoke via a smoking cap. Woodford Reserve, Heering Cherry Liquor, Woodford Reserve Spiced Cherry Bitters & garnished with a cherry & orange slice.
THE JASON FAUST (SMOKED) HOOSIER HERITAGE
Hoosier native Foust created this drink in honor of Abraham Lincoln who moved to Indiana from Knob Creek Farm in 1816. We use Knob Creek Bourbon, Maple Syrup, Lemon Juice, Apple Cider, a sprig of Rosemary & an apple slice to create this spicy & caramel-y concoction. It was named best cocktail by IndyStar.com & the unofficial Indiana State Cocktail.
PAT O'BRIEN'S HURRICANE
Pat O'Brien's, a New Orleans speakeas turned piano lounge created this drink in the decade following Prohibition’s repeal. Whiskey & bourbon were scarce but rum was not. Now known as a must-have when visiting Nawlins and/or Bourbon Street. We use Bacardi Light & Dark Rum, Passion Fruit, Orange Juice, Simple Syrup & Grenadine
APEROL SPRITZ
An Aperol Spritz is an ultra refreshing, not too sweet yet light & effervescent bubbly cocktail. If you can imagine the taste of summertime in Italy with a golden orange sunset this is a cocktail for you. We use Aperol Aperitivo Liqueur from Italy, Prosecco & soda with a fresh orange slice garnish.
ESPRESSO MARTINI
Dubbed as the drink of celebrities, this cocktail continues to rise in popularity. Iconic bartender Dick Bradsell who presided over the London cocktail scene created this cocktail allegedly at the behest of famous model Kate Moss. We use 2Nite Premium Italian Vodka, Quarrymen Fresh Roasted Espresso, Kahlua Coffee Liqueur & Turbinado Syrup.
JOHNNY'S PINEAPPLE MARG
